Scott Halleran
With more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry, Scott Halleran brings extensive technical and management experience to his role at Earthrise Energy. During his career, Scott has managed conventional and renewable assets, including energy storage. Before joining Earthrise, Scott was an independent renewable energy consultant, where in addition to supporting Earthrise operations, he supported the integration and operation of 4 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy assets for AES Clean Energy. Before that, Scott served as vice president of asset optimization for ProEnergy Services, managing the operations and maintenance operations for the third-party solutions provider for the energy industry. Prior to that, he worked at AES Corporation for nearly 20 years, rising from the ranks of maintenance technician to senior director of generation. As Senior Director of Generation at Dayton Power & Light (now known as AES Ohio), he oversaw more than 4 GW of conventional power. Prior to that position, he served as Senior Director of Generation Central Services for AES at the corporate level, leading the development and rollout of a $1.5 billion investment plan and risk management program. He also oversaw quantitative asset lifecycle plans for more than 1,000 critical energy assets. Scott also led the development and rollout of training and outage management and combustion optimization programs, which were implemented across three investor-owned utilities. Scott also has significant experience in environmental, safety, and NERC compliance. As Director of Performance and NERC Chief Compliance Officer at AES, he oversaw 13 GW of North America regulated and non-regulated generation, serving 1.5 million customers.
Scott began his career as a U.S. Air Force aircraft maintenance specialist. He earned an associate degree in aviation maintenance technology and a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.
