Evelyn Lim

Evelyn has nearly 30 years of legal experience with more than 20 years of experience in renewable energy.

Evelyn has negotiated a number of complex financing transactions building infrastructure around the United States and in developing countries. Prior to Earthrise, she was Managing Director at TerraForm where she led the $2 billion acquisition of approximately 1GW of operating wind projects from Invenergy. Prior to joining TerraForm, Evelyn was a partner in Chadbourne and Parke’s Project Finance Group and led several large renewable energy transactions representing clients such as Blackrock, Ares, Ullico, EDF, Rabobank, Morgan Stanley in connection with project acquisitions and related acquisition financings; construction, backlevered, holdco and mezzanine debt financings, tax equity financings and energy hedge transactions.

Evelyn started her career as attorney with Milbank. She subsequently joined First Wind as their General Counsel where she was responsible for the legal aspects of the development, procurement, construction, financing and operations of renewable energy projects in the United States. Prior to joining Chadbourne, she was General Counsel of Element Power, a global renewable energy company focused on the development, construction, financing and operations of renewable energy projects in the United States and Europe.

Evelyn is a graduate of Cornell University and Fordham University School of Law.
