Jared Brown
Jared Brown has over 20 years of energy experience with more than 10 years focused on renewable energy engineering and operations. Jared joined Earthrise in 2022 currently holds the title of Associate VP, Engineering and Construction, overseeing the engineering and construction of over 2 GW of utility-scale renewables projects across the United States.
Prior to Earthrise, Jared held engineering & operations leadership roles at NextEra Energy Resources and Florida Power & Light. In those roles he supported transmission, substation, and control center operations across a multi-GW fleet of power plants.
Jared has deep experience in managing and supporting large-scale grid infrastructure and operations for a geographically diverse renewable fleet, including wind, solar, and battery storage assets. His scope of responsibilities have spanned all engineering scopes and regulatory requirements.
Jared holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
