Earthrise Energy to Host Open House About Solar Project in Eastern McLean County

Earthrise Energy, the owner of the Gibson City Energy Center, will hold a public open house on Thursday, November 30, 2023, to discuss a proposed 135-megawatt photovoltaic solar project facility in eastern McLean County. The open house is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Cheney’s Grove Township Building in Saybrook.

During the open house, members of the Earthrise Energy team and subject matter experts will be available to provide information about the project, completed and planned environmental studies, and community benefits.
